Has anyone seen the stupid DirectTV commercial where there is a bank robbery taking place and two "bank patrons" are laying on the ground and one (played by the great Gus on "Psych") whips out his phone just in case they aren't going to get out in time for him to record his show. UGH! I HATE IT!!!
So, I left such feedback with DirectTV saying that I think they could come up with a better scenario than a bank robbery in these times. I just thought it was lame. A couple days later, I got a generic response thanking me for my comments. I thought that was the end of it -I said my peace and went on.
Today when I came home, there was a package on my steps. I was puzzled by this, because I wasn't expecting anything. As I brought it in, I saw a note from DirectTV stating they appreciated me sharing my thoughts. "That was really nice of you, so here's a portable DVD player we really hope you'll enjoy."
Huh? When? WHAT????!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? That's pretty cool - I will send them a thank you for the thank you!
